How do I order online?

1) Go to the home page and search the catalogue to find the resources you need.
2) Click on the cover page of the resource you want to purchase.
3) Type in the quantity you would like to purchase and click 'Add to Cart.' The item will be added to your shopping cart. Choose CDN or US funds depending on your location. All international customers should choose US funds.
4) If you would like to purchase more items, click 'Continue Shopping' and repeat Step #2.
5) When you are ready to purchase your items, click 'Checkout.' You will be taken through the checkout process.
6) Once we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.

Shipping Information

Our shipping is set up for both Canadian* and US customers. Please choose the correct shipping based on your location.
*For rural areas, additional shipping charges may apply. Please call or e-mail us for a price quote.

PLEASE NOTE:

This shipping cost for customers outside of Canada and United States is based on the weight of the package. Please choose International Shipping for your shipping method when ordering online. Your order will show $0.00 for a shipping cost but this will be adjusted when we invoice you for your order. If you would like more information about the shipping cost to your area, please call or e-mail us for a price quote.

Payment Information

We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Purchase Orders for all on-line orders. *If you are paying by VISA or Mastercard, please ensure that the name and address you include in the billing section matches that shown on your credit card statement. If you are paying with a Purchase Order, be sure to include your PO number. For companies who wish to be invoiced and have no PO number, type N/A in the Purchase Order Number field.

*We do not process credit cards on-line. They are processed when we ship your order.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you wish to pay by cheque or money order, you cannot order on-line. Instead, click on order form in the shopping section of our website, print off the form and mail your order to us.
All international orders (outside Canada and the US) as well as those from individuals must be prepaid by cheque, money order or credit card.
Canadian orders pay in Canadian funds. US and International orders pay in US Funds.
Please make all cheques and money orders payable to Grass Roots Press.

Tax Information

Canadian Customers:

Canadian customers are charged GST on their orders. For customers in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, PST only applies to shipping & handling, audio, video, and software. This will be added to your total when we process your order.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you are a tax-exempt company in Canada, you can order online. However, our system is not set up to remove the GST from your order. We will adjust your invoice accordingly and send a copy with your order. For companies who are GST exempt, please write "GST exempt" along with your exemption number in the COMMENTS section below the payment information during the checkout process.

US Customers:

We DO NOT charge tax on US and international orders.

PLEASE NOTE:
We require all US comapnies to provide their Federal Tax ID number before we can ship their order. Please provide us with this number when placing an order. If we do not have this number, your order may be delayed. (Note: This does not apply to orders from individuals.) This number can be included in the COMMENTS section below the payment information during the checkout process.

Preview/Return Policy

In order to keep our books affordable to you, our valued customer, we do not give out desk or preview copies. If you wish to return the book after you have looked at it, the following Return Policy is in effect. Any product that is returned requires a Return Materials Authorization Number (RMA#) and must be returned within 30 days of the invoice date. All products must be returned in the same condition as shipped. (Books wrapped in cellophane cannot be returned if opened). Please fax us at 780-413-6582 or e-mail us at info@grassrootsbooks.net with an explanation as to why you wish to return the product(s), and we can provide you with an RMA. The customer is responsible for the shipping and handling charges as invoiced, and the return shipping and handling charges to Grass Roots Press.
