Dr. Pat Campbell, the President of Literacy Services of Canada Ltd, has over 20 years experience in the field of adult literacy as a reading specialist program coordinator, researcher, teacher, facilitator, curriculum developer, author and editor.

Grass Roots Press has been publishing and distributing adult literacy materials to over 3500 individuals and organizations across North American since 1997. The company was founded on the belief that the best resources are those developed by literacy educators. From tutor training materials, to landmark research findings, to exceptional student materials, our resources are a testament to the fine work carried on by literacy practitioners like yourselves. This year, we expanded our line of publications and we now carry over 250 books, videos, and software packages.

We acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada through the Book Publishing Industry Development Program (BPIDP) for our publishing activities. We also acknowledge the support of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts for our publishing programs.
